Why Do I Need a Host?

A live traitors-style game may look simple on the surface — but delivering it well requires planning, structure and confident facilitation. Here’s what a professional host changes:

1. It’s a big undertaking.

Planning roles, preparing materials, briefing players, and managing the flow takes time and attention. A host handles the logistics so you can focus on your guests.

2. Props and materials add up.

By the time you’ve sourced all the materials required for the game yourself, you’re close to the cost of a professionally delivered event — without the expertise behind it.

3. It’s more complex than it looks.

These games can quickly unravel without careful pacing and structure. Conversations drift. Votes become chaotic. There are endless possible outcomes. An experienced host knows the game in detail and can adapt to how the play unfolds.

4. You get to play.

If you’re organising the event, you shouldn’t have to sit out. Hiring a host means you can fully immerse yourself in the experience alongside your guests.

5. Proven results.

Every Faithful Game to date has received five-star feedback. The format has been refined through real sessions to ensure maximum engagement and a strong finish every time.

What props do you provide?

All props that are essential to game-play are provided including, cloaks, shields, mini-game materials and picture frames. A display board for your pictures is provided with two options:

1. Traditional Headshots

Headshots must be provided at least 5-days in advance of your event.

2. Draw-in Templates

If you are short on time, guests can draw their own headshot as they arrive.

What happens to players who are eliminated early?

The Faithful Game is structured in rounds, each consisting of a shield challenge, a murder, and a round table.

If a player is eliminated in the first two rounds and they are not a Traitor, they have the opportunity to win their way back into the game at the start of Round Three.

The format is intentionally front-loaded to keep as many players involved for as long as possible. As the game progresses and numbers reduce, eliminated players remain part of the experience and are encouraged to stay for the excitement of the final stages and reveals.
